Robert E. Coen Sr. age, 80, of North Canton passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at St. Luke's Lutheran Home. He was born June 29, 1929 in Mingo Jct. Ohio to the late David and Fern Coen. Robert retired from the Ohio Army Nation Guard as a CW4 after 46 years of service. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Mason of Ohio, Lions Club, Greensburg American Legion Post and First Christian Church. Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary; four children, Robert Coen Jr, Patricia Coen, Gary Coen, and Jeff Coen all of North Canton and Jeff's two children, granddaughters, Amanda and Samantha Coen. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the St. Luke's Lutheran Home Twin Hills for all of the care and kindness. A memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the St. Luke's Lutheran Home in the Chapel, 220 Applegrove St. NW North Canton, Ohio with Rev. Don Rice officiating. The Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements. The family request that no flower be sent instead make a donation to the St. Luke's Lutheran Home of the Aging 220 Applegrove St. NE North Canton, Ohio 44720.
