Jason Michael Koempel age 40 of Canton, OH passesd away suddenly on July 22, 2010. He was known for his sense of humor, love of people and his time spent outdoors. Jason had a love for selling antiques and collectables which started for him as a child. These attributes are what will be missed most of all by family and friends alike. Jason is survived by his loving parents, Michael (Barbara) Koempel of PA, and a host of family who will be celebrating his life with a service at John F. Slater Funeral home 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 1-5 p.m. In honoring Jason's wishes, his body will be cremated and a burial of ashes may take place at a future date.
