Kimberly L. Ehret, age 59, of Canton, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 27, 1951 in Canton. Kim was a 1969 graduate of Perry High School. She was previously employed with Glenmoor Country Club. Kim enjoyed gardening and had a great love for music. She will be remembered for her kindness and sweet spirit. Kim will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Kim was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Ehret; and father, Lowell Weaver. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Donna and Ronald McCoy of Canton; two brothers, Steve McCoy of Canton and Jack McCoy of Palm Springs, CA; four sisters, Rhonda (James) Schlegel of Boca Raton, FL, Sherri (Joe) Mettle of Westerville, OH, Mary McCoy of Navarre, OH and Janet McCoy of Pompano Beach, FL; nieces and nephews, Steve McCoy, Jr., Tessa (Jason) Clemens, Philip Schlegel and Sheila Schlegel; great nephews, Mason McCoy, Holden Clemens and Greyson Clemens; and beloved dog, Biscuit ; and beloved cat, Lacy. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. Schmotzer and his staff for their outstanding care and kindness. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11am in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 6-8pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718).
